The collection of the Bauhaus-Archiv is the world’s largest and most diverse collection related to the Bauhaus, its history and its influence.
The collection covers various fields of providing a unique documentation on the history of the Bauhaus, enabling us to understand the achievements of the school in the domains of art, education, architecture, and design.
While our museum is being renovated and extended, we welcome you at the temporary bauhaus-archiv / museum für gestaltung, our temporary location in Berlins Charlottenburg district.
Experimentation with presentation formats, cooperations, events and new content is the main focus of the temporary.
